used little bit of blending options...wanted to create a scene just like my home desktop...
those speakers are something i have been wanting to get for now thats where i keep my immediately usuable cd's...Overall a light file...simple boxes light tracer - rendered...mouse and keyboard...yup the mouse pad is what i got ..just scanned the image...
i cant use it though...very rough to move the mouse really..anyways...finally my notepad for quick sketches and put in a skecth that i had done earlier...just like that..so this is my
favourite place...as is all of yours..right?
This is the final composition of Stones ..pillars..and dust..of my wip. I have used Photoshop for the textures which took me a lot lot of time especially for the engravings in the wall the bump and displacement maps..the texture for the pillars skecthed out. Did the final composition using Combustion and added a little bit of dust in the scene and as always your views are appreciated.

Alley

I am a newbee and this is my first 3d still created using 3dsmax6. Its a still of an alley scene. Rendered using a simple light tracer - Skylight and most of the textures were created or mixed up in Photoshop.
This being my first work i would really appreciate the artists comments on my work which would help me build scenes more realistic.
I have added up quite a few details to the scene like water getting dried up in the street, grass and moss, a rusted bike lying in a corner, a garbage dump, and yup ... lot of waste....the usual things you could show in an alley....cracked walls...hanging wires..I also wanted show some graffitti work on the walls but it would look too much the usual...so that's it
